As a domestic and international business owner and project manager, Mikhail Nudelman brings more than 25 years’ business experience that spans both the United States and Eastern European* markets. Originally arriving in the U.S. in 1979 from his birthplace of Kyiv, Ukraine, Mr. Nudelman has exemplified the American Dream by working his way up from employee to manager to business owner. In 1986 he became a U.S.
citizen and started his first business: a graphics design and production company, eventually setting new standards and trends in the exposition service industry.
His expertise in problem-solving and desire for positive results has positioned him as a visionary able to move projects and relationships forward. Fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian, Mr. Nudelman possesses the ability to deal with complex domestic and international business, professional, governmental, academic and cross-cultural issues.
Following the fall of the Soviet Union, Mr. Nudelman saw an opportunity to “do well by doing good” through establishing and building profitable business relationships between the U.S. and Eastern Europe. In 1993, he founded the American-Ukrainian Trade Corporation and its subsidiaries, Eurocompass and Business InterCenter that brought investments, trade, projects and business development in the emerging free market economies of Eastern Europe. He played an important role in forging international business initiatives and cultural exchanges that involved high government officials and key business and civic leaders in the United States, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Slovak Republic, Canada and Norway.
In 2000, Mr. Nudelman co-founded International Talent Bank, LLC (ITB) an international staffing organization, to take strategic advantage of the U.S. demand for information technology professionals while providing an opportunity for Eastern European technology professionals to experience and grow in a free market economy. ITB recruited, screened, trained and placed Eastern European information technology professionals on a contract basis with companies in the Atlanta area..
In 2003, Mr. Nudelman developed and formed Professional Resources International, Inc., an organization focusing on meeting the critical needs for professional nursing staff in the U.S. healthcare industry, thus creating a knowledge-sharing cooperative arrangement for Ukrainian healthcare professionals, educational institutions and government agencies. The organization promotes an exchange of nursing professionals between the U.S. and Ukraine to foster better training for Ukrainian healthcare professionals, while alleviating nursing shortages in participating hospitals in the U.S.
Mr. Nudelman has served as International Navigator and Project Manager on numerous business, academic, civic, and cultural initiatives providing insight and knowledge of the nature of international business customs, regulations, and standards to both American and Eastern European groups. He worked personally with the acting prime minister of Ukraine to co-author an international business development plan for Ukraine and served Senators Paul Coverdell (R-GA) and Max Cleland (D-GA) in economic development and foreign policy issues involving the former Soviet republics.
In addition to a B.A. degree, Mikhail Nudelman has completed a Mediation Certificate Program for conflict resolution and a Project Management Professional Certificate Program. He is a longstanding supporter of U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Kyiv, Ukraine. He has participated in initiatives involving Auburn University, National Agrarian University of Ukraine, the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine, and the Spoleto Festival in the U.S.
